The Fire Tree is out

After a long quiet stretch of writing alongside my work in science, my first novel — The Fire Tree: A Magical Journey — is now available on Amazon Kindle.

It is a story about Riyu, a scientist who feels her life slipping into routine, and a sudden passage that pulls her into another world. It is also, in some honest way, a story about the years I have spent looking at living things through a microscope and wondering what else there is.
